Certification of equipment for paint and coating industry

In order to confirm quality of the equipment used for coating of industrial machinery it is necessary to apply for certification according to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR CU "On safety of machinery and equipment" (ТR СU 010/2011) and depending of unique features of tools according to TR CU "On safety of low-voltage equipment" (ТR СU 004/2011) and TR CU "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means" (ТR СU 020/2011).

Equipment in question may include electrostatic guns for coating, infra-red drying lamps and so on. A declaration of conformity with the above mentioned Regulations is sufficient. The goods which are not covered by these regulations are included in an Exemption letter.

As to electrostatic guns the customs authority required a document stating that electrostatic guns for coating of automotive equipment do not use any encryption algorithms and radio frequency for operation. As there is no applicable document designated for that in the certification system of the Customs Union, a bilingual declaration on behalf of the manufacturer stating that equipment does not have any of mentioned above features may be drawn up. It will  ensure the export of the goods.

The declarations are obtained within 10-15 days on the basis of technical description and application.
