Paints for textile
Such products as paints, varnishes, primers and sealants require a Certificate of State Registration which confirms that the quality of the product (substance, material and device) is in full compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements of the Customs Union.
Paints used for textile require a State Registration Certificate as well. The main criteria which are to be considered when determining the number of required approvals are the following:
-
Chemical makeup – which compounds are contained in the product. Depending on that a decision will be made whether several products may be covered by a single document
-
Field and method of application –paint used for coloring cannot be combined with paint used for pattering
We strongly recommend manufacturers to organize the list of their products and prepare TDS and MSDS with detailed information on chemical compounds.
In case the product does not require a Certificate of State Registration then an Expert Conclusion may be obtained. Both documents have no time limits.
To obtain the certificate the following documents are required:
-
Technical description (TDS, MSDS, manual)
-
Application
-
Copy of the foundation documents (if the applicant is a resident in the Customs Union)
It takes up to 6 weeks to obtain State Registration Certificate.
