Fire Safety Certification
The Fire Safety Certificate is an official document, confirming the compliance of the products with the requirements of technical regulations on fire safety Fire Safety Certificate is required for the following products: :
- Eqipment and devices for fire safety
- Equipment and materials used in the construction of evacuation systems and hazardous zones
- Construction materials
- Electro technical equipment
- Heat-generating equipment
- Fire distinguishers
Fire Safety certificate may be either mandatory or voluntary depending on the type of the product. The maximum term of its validity is 5 years. It takes from 10 to 30 days to issue the certificate.
In some cases it is necessary to apply to EMERCOM which has exclusive accreditation rights. For example, that concerns complex and sophisticated fire protection systems.
